Millennium Park On-line Tour
Big, Bad and Totally Rad!

Another atomic weekend in Chi. Music - oh for sure - Kings of Leon before U2, Wilco, ColdPlay, Built to Spill, Old 97s and CABP w/ Free Space - Wow! But we were at the closing night at FlatFile Galleries IN THE SHADOW OF THE SURREALEXQUISITE CORPSE. Somehow out of all the dope dance boxes to hit in the West Loop, we ended up downtown at Trader Vic's. The place is like a faux-Tahitian village and we got totally dripped on the low-price Mia-Tia special. After totally pissing off the whole bar with our tripped-out ramblings, we decided to end the night early with some food. As we whipped down LSD in Van's loaner Lexus!, we had lots differing thoughts on where to head for dinner. The debated ended with some sort of consensus on Garcia's. It was 1 am and it was bustlin'. Pitchers of Tecate, nachos topped with the best salsa in town and half of my burrito was all i could put down. (but it will be great for a hangover lunch) I barely remember stumbling home, but when the door rang this morning, i never should have got up. Jehovah's Witnesses on a Sunday - that's just not right. Chicago - home sweet home!
